'Solitaire Grande' is a classic solitaire game, presented by Inlogic Games. This game uses standard 52-card deck. Solitaire is set up by creating seven tiles. Each pile will have a faced up card.
The object of the game is to transfer all the cards onto the ACE foundation. For each suit, a foundation is started by placing an ace above the seven piles that were dealt. The ace of a suit can be added to with the next card in sequence. The game is won by transferring all the cards to the foundation piles.
During the game-play, cards can move around in three ways:
1 - within the seven piles face-up, cards can move on to other cards if the card being moved is one number lower than the card is being moved onto and is a different color. For example, a black six can move on to a red seven and a red eight can move on to a black nine.
2 - another way cards move around is when card can be moved to the foundation piles as mentioned earlier. The ace of each suit begins the foundation pile. When the next highest number is available, it can be added to it suits.
3- the last way cards can move around is from the deck. After the set up, the remaining deck has 24 cards in it. These cards are revealed one at a time. For an easier gameplay or you can reveal every third card, for more of a challenge the top card can be added on top of one of the seven piles or added to a foundation pile when possible.
A card can only be stacked on a card that is a different color and one number higher. When one of the seven piles is gone, only a king can be moved into the open space. The top card of a foundation pile can be moved back on to one of the seven piles if needed.
If there are no more moves that can be made from the piles, or the cards in the deck, the game is lost. The game is won with seven piles being formed. As with most games, in 'Solitaire Grande' you will get better with practice, so don't be discouraged if it takes you a few games to catch up.
