‘Stratego Win or Lose’ is a simple, beautifully drawn, cards game where your goal is to get as many points as possible by choosing which card will win – red or blue. It’s a variant of well known higher or lower game, enriched with nice graphics.Even if you have never played this kind of games before, you’ll jump into it in no time. It’s simple – one card is reveled while the other is hidden. You need to pick which card will win the duel. Cards are designed to represent 18th century soldiers so, at least, you’ll have a refreshment from classic card decks.

Blobs

‘Blobs’ is a coloring puzzle strategy game, where your goal is to paint the whole game scene into one color with fewest moves possible. You start with the top-left ‘blob’. Pick the color in the palette (bottom-left) to change the color of the blob and ‘melt’ it with the same-colored surrounding blobs. This way you’ll expand the colored area and, hopefully, cover the whole stage. There are 8 levels to complete, and, at first glance, there’s not much visual difference between levels except the number of moves allowed (starting with 30 then reducing for 2 per each new level). But there’s another subtle difference – with each level, colors become more scattered making it harder to cover big area at once.
The safest bet for each move may seem to be this: to pick the prevalent neighboring color to your area, although you’ll soon realize that sometimes it’s actually better to pick the color that goes deepest into the unconquered area. When you’re near the end, try to plan your moves in order to eliminate some colors totally from the board. As levels advance, the game gets more challenging and sometimes the luck will play a role.

Block the Pig

‘Block the Pig’ is a cute, turn based game where your opponent is a naughty pig (looking somewhat like a rabbit, though) who escaped from the pigpen.

In order to prevent damage (and loss of the dinner) you need to stop it from leaving your yard. Unfortunately, you have no better equipment to prevent him from fleeing, but a bunch of stones that can be put on piggy’s way on the hexagonal playing field in order to block it. The playground already has some stones scattered around which will make your job a bit easier.

First three stones can be placed while the pig is still, but every next move will be followed by the pig’s move. If it reaches the border of the field, you lose the game (and, probably, the pig itself – only the wolf will be happy). Who could believe that pigs can be so good at tactics? If you win, you’ll get a cute animation if piggy swinging on its little backside, and a surprising message that says: ‘pig is blocked’. Who could ask for more!?

Strategy to win? Well, as you’d assume, the key is in those three initial moves that you play while the pig is still – still. So, here are some ‘Block the Pig’ tips:

First, try to block three nearest exits where the pig will surely go.
If existing stones are too scattered, so that there is too much open space in between, place your stones in the middle of them so that you, at least, make pig’s way a bit longer. Try to make ‘corridors’ only one stone wide so that you can block them later (depending of where the pig decides to move)
Predefined stones play a big role – sometimes the task is trivial and you can block the pig only with those three bonus moves. Sometimes the task seems impossible (unfortunately, you go right back to the beginning after the failed level).
